San Francisco, CA – Today, Mayor Edwin M. Lee will join Board President London Breed, Reverend Amos C. Brown, and community members to sign landmark designation for 1399 McAllister Street, site of Third Baptist Church of San Francisco. Founded more than 160 years ago, Third Baptist is the oldest African-American church in San Francisco and has been the home and platform for generations of community leaders, advocates and entertainers.
