Mayor Lee's Statement on Voter Approval of June 2016 Ballot Measures
Mayor Edwin M. Lee today issued the following statement on Propositions A and B:
“San Francisco voters continue to make strategic and smart investments to ensure our growing City is safer, more resilient, and more affordable.
Thanks to our voters, we are well-positioned to provide better health care with improved emergency and medical response and expanded services to our homeless population. By rebuilding our City’s mental health facilities, strengthening our neighborhood health clinics and firehouses, as well as improving our homeless shelters and building a new Navigation Center, we will tackle some of our greatest infrastructure challenges without raising property taxes.
I’m pleased that voters have, once again, overwhelmingly endorsed our priorities and direction for San Francisco with strong support for Propositions A and B. We will immediately get to work to deliver these infrastructure projects on time and on budget.”
