Mayor Edwin M. Lee today issued the following statement on the death of Priscila “Precy” Moreto:

“On behalf of the City and County of San Francisco, I extend my deepest condolences to the family of Priscila Moreto who tragically died from her injuries after being struck in front of City Hall yesterday. This incident is tragic and also reminds us that we all have a shared responsibility to protect and care for one another on our busy streets. This incident will be thoroughly investigated. Precy was a dedicated employee who served our City and residents with great distinction. Our thoughts and prayers remain with her family, friends and colleagues during this time of mourning.”
