Dr. Lowe was a medical pioneer, community leader and philanthropist who dedicated his entire career to helping others.

Through his hard work and dedication, he paved the road for Asian Americans in the field of medicine, serving as an inspiration for generations to follow. He was a brave and courageous civil rights advocate, who supported countless advocacy organizations in the Chinatown community and across our City.

San Francisco is a healthier, safer and more equitable place because of Dr. Lowe’s advocacy. He will be dearly missed, but his contributions to our City will always be remembered. Our thoughts and sympathies are with his family and friends at this time
