Mayor Breed’s Bridge to Excellence Scholars Program

Mayor Breed would like to help highly-motivated high school students from low-income and under-resourced communities to overcome financial barriers to attend college. Students who are graduating from a San Francisco public high school and the first in their family to go onto a four-year university are encouraged to apply for a one time scholarship.

Opportunities For All

Opportunities for All  is a city-wide initiative put forth to help young adults ages 14-24, especially those with low-incomes or who are not engaged in employment or education, find meaningful work experiences to help them gain practical knowledge while developing skills essential to succeeding in today’s economy.

Our Children Our Families

To ensure that youth and families can effectively access the resources needed to thrive in San Francisco, Mayor London Breed and San Francisco Unified School District Superintendent Vincent Matthews co-chair the Our Children Our Families Council (OCOF).
