Mayor London N. Breed and the City and County of San Francisco want to ensure the magic and wonder of our cultural centers are accessible for everyone.

San Francisco Museums for All offers opportunities to experience art and educational enrichment at more than 15 museums and cultural centers by providing free entry to residents participating in public benefit programs offered by the Human Services Agency.

Simply show your Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) or Medi-Cal card, and proof of San Francisco residency at a participating location to receive free general admission for up to four individuals. For more information, visit our FAQs page.

Visit participating locations this summer on any day during normal operating hours.

What You Need 


Bring a benefits card and proof of San Francisco residency to a participating museum and receive free admission for up to four individuals.


Enjoy all summer! Free entry offered June 1 – September 2. There is no limit to the number of locations or times you can visit. Accepted benefit cards include:

  • Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card
  • Medi-Cal Benefit Identification card


Accepted proof of residency:

  • California Driver’s license or Real ID card
  • San Francisco City ID card
  • San Francisco student or college/university ID card
  • San Francisco Public Library card
  • Utility bill from a San Francisco address within the last 30 days
  • Current rent receipt, lease agreement, or mortgage statement
