Mayor Lee is urging Giants fans and local businesses to show their pride by wearing the Orange & Black or displaying any form of support for the hometown team. In a show of civic pride, City Hall, Coit Tower and San Francisco International Airport, along with a number of civic and landmark buildings in San Francisco, will be lit in orange. The Giants will face the New York Mets in New York on Wednesday evening for a one-game Wild Card playoff and the chance to advance to the National League Divisional Series against the Chicago Cubs.

As the Giants begin the 2016 MLB Postseason, Mayor Lee and the San Francisco Giants urge all fans to treat each other with respect. Wherever fans choose to watch the game – either at home or at a local restaurant or bar - be safe and practice good sportsmanship. In the end, the MLB Postseason celebrates the game of baseball, and rivalries should remain on the field.
