Mayor Lee’s Statement on Ratified Muni Driver Contract
Mayor Edwin M. Lee today issued the following statement on the ratified labor agreement between the Transport Workers Union Local 250-A and the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA):
“I am grateful that both the Muni drivers and the SFMTA have reached a fair and responsible agreement that honors workers and Muni riders, and keeps our public transportation system on a sustainable fiscal path. Muni is a vital system for our traveling public and our entire City, and I want to thank our former Mayor Willie Brown for successfully brokering this agreement to keep our City moving.”
